Learn to fly with our official gliding courses

Training Options

We offer two modalities to start in gliding: introductory flights to try the experience or the complete course to obtain the official license.

1st OPTION

Introductory Flights

Package of 10 introductory flights to try before the complete course. Valid for 3 months with a bonus of €100 compared to the tariff price.

Note: For minors (16-18 years old), parental authorization notarized is required.

Flight Program

1ª-4ª

Aircraft behavior, control effects, straight flight, turns, speed, and air brakes.

5ª-8ª

Towing and landing phases. Use of thermals and slope soaring.

9ª-10ª

Application of knowledge and evaluation by instructor.

Duration: Approximately 20 minutes per flight

  • 50% reduction in entry fee if you continue with the course
  • Priority in reserving student slots
  • Fewer classes with an instructor if you continue

2nd OPTION

Official Pilot License

Complete course to obtain the Official Sailplane Pilot License. School authorized by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation.

Schedule: Weekends. In high season (May-August) subject to instructor availability.

Requirements

a)

Be a member of the Club (entry fee + monthly fee)

b)

Class II Medical Certificate for sailplane pilot (~€130)

c)

Process documentation (Student Card) - Free management by the Club

Required Documentation

  • • Copy of ID
  • • 1 passport photo
  • • Bank details
  • • Parental authorization notarized (minors 16-18 years old)

Structure of the Official Course

The course combines practical and theoretical training for comprehensive preparation

Practical Training

Flights in two-seaters with authorized instructors according to the School Program approved by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation.

Schedule: Weekends
Groups: Saturdays and Sundays

Theoretical Training

Theoretical subjects taught in parallel with practical classes.

• Aerodynamics
• Instruments
• Meteorology 1 and 2
• Navigation
• Procedures and piloting

Internal review exams at the end of the theoretical course

Official Exam

To complete the training, you must pass the official exam conducted by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation for obtaining the sailplane pilot license.
