Another one flying "plastic"

This time it was a pilot-in-the-making who achieved the eagerly awaited “suelta” in one of the aircraft we call “plastic” (technically, “composite”).

The event took place on Saturday, 25 March 2017, and the lucky one was Marc Unzueta who, although still a student, had been flying solo for a while, and his instructor decided it was time to fly one of the club’s PW5s. In his own words: “I didn’t know this aircraft flew so well.”

It was a short but intense flight, without any big surprises. A flawless take-off and a trouble-free landing.

And now it’s time to enjoy it and celebrate, just like the first “suelta.”

Congratulations, Marc, and happy flying!
